In 2008, Klaus R. Rauter and Kittiya Saengsuk founded Mai-BS (Thailand), a consulting firm that quickly gained market traction by providing business owners with candid, actionable insights and delivering impressive, sustainable results through hands-on work.
In 2011, Andacura Hotels & Resorts was established, emerging from the success of Mai-BS. Andacura rapidly expanded to manage and build 18 hotels, renowned for designing some of the most unique boutique hotels in Thailand.
2019 was a pivotal year, as 50% of Andacura Hotels was sold to an investor with the hope of strengthening our foundations, supporting our staff, and expanding beyond Asia.
Unfortunately, this decision compromised our core values. The onset of the COVID-19 pandemic further challenged us. As a small but successful company, without the backing of new shareholders or government support, we decided to focus on our beloved and loyal hotel owners and dedicated staff. Consequently, we had to reinvented ourselves as RECALL HOTELS THAILAND. And yes, Hotel Owners and properties who survived Covid-19 are still working with us.
