For Management it’s a different story, there we charge a re-branding fee (for existing properties) and then a negotiated percentage of the Net-Revenue and a negotiated percentage of GOP (Gross Operating Profit)
Gross Operating Profit (GOP) is a key financial metric that represents the revenue remaining after deducting departmental expenses and undistributed operating expenses.
GOP is calculated by subtracting the total departmental expenses (such as Rooms, Food & Beverage, and Other Operated Departments) and undistributed operating expenses (such as Administrative and General, Information and Telecommunications Systems, Sales and Marketing, Property Operations and Maintenance, and Utilities) from the total operating revenue.
